• Description: Placer Nature Center offers activities and classes in wildlife, astronomy, reptiles, gardening, art, insects, ecology, watershed, natural & cultural history and much more for people of all ages.Programs are offered at the nature center and throughout Placer County.Special nature focused programs offered all year for all ages - preschool, families, adults, grandparents, teens and all the in-between ages, too.All events, classes and activities are low cost or free and a great way to spend time with family or old friends and to meet new friends. By giving people, of all ages, the opportunity to experience nature first hand, they learn about ecology, conservation and sustainable living while developing a sense of wonder, a growing imagination and problem-solving skills.
